Repair
Our base rate for general handyman services is $75 per hour with a one hour minimum charge. The first hour includes 30 minutes of travel time for our technician (15 minutes each way) and 30 minutes of on-site labor (sufficient time to complete many common jobs). In our experience, it usually costs $100 - $200 just to get a plumber or electrician to pull into your driveway.

The savings don't end there. We offer annual service agreements that reduce your labor costs with three different levels to fit your needs:

Beeps & Bulbs
$300 per year

-
Beeps & Bulbs subscribers are eligible for one 30 minute Beeps & Bulbs appointment per month.
-
Beeps & Bulbs coverage includes:
-
Changing dead or flickering light bulbs.
-
Adjusting seasonal settings on ceiling fans.
-
Changing batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms.
-
Replacing outdate smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms.
-
-
A Beeps & Bulbs appointment may be used to offset the commute time for a regular handyman appointment, meaning you get a full 60 minutes of on site labor for your first hour billed.

Homecare Legacy
$100 per year

In honor of the Lifetime Homecare Service where our founder got his start in the industry, we offer a better deal to customers who make a commitment to working with us. Homecare Legacy subscribers get a labor rate of $50 per hour instead of the $75 per hour base rate.

Monthly Retainer
$100 per month billed monthly
or
$1100 per year billed annually

-
Monthly Retainer subscribers are entitled to up to 3 hours of labor per month at no additional charge. Labor in excess of 3 hours per month is billed at $50 per hour.
-
Monthly Retainer subscribers are only charged actual labor for a la carte services.

The Nitty Gritty Details
The customer is responsible for commute time and parts costs regardless of subscriber level.

-
Commute time is calculated based on Google Maps projected travel time from our dispatch location at time of departure.
-
In situations where the projected commute time is less than 15 minutes, the customer may receive additional on site labor in the amount of twice the difference. To clarify, 5 minutes less on the one way commute equals 10 minutes more on site labor before being billed for additional hours.
-
In situations where the projected commute time is greater than 15 minutes, a high mileage surcharge is applied at a rate of $50 per hour billed in 15 minute increments based on total commute time in excess of 30 minutes.
-

Our staff stocks many common repair parts [insert hyperlink]. Time spent shopping for other parts will be billed as additional commute time.
